I am 56 years old, 6'-1" tall and from June 2021 until now I dropped from 218 lbs to 190. At 218 I was very active and fit. I wasn't loafing. From June-August I took on a project in Colorado that allowed me to hike, bike, fish and play with my dog every day. It was fantastic! Since I came home and got back into my previous professional and recreational routine I have neither gained or lost weight. Consistently burning a few more calories per day adds up quickly....

Bobhp,

I am also 14 years in and because my off periods come quicker and harder I find myself putting off eating protein or a bigger meal in general so that my next dose will come on faster and I will just generally feel better. That being said, I find myself losing weight like you mentioned and then I start eating a bit more.

About two and a half years ago my real honeymoon was over and I started getting hit harder and at that time I went from 185 lbs down to 170 in about four weeks .

I'm 65. Before starting this downward spiral I averaged 50 miles per week running. I weighed 170#. When diagnosed with PD I researched on pubmed and google scholar. I recall reading that a common symptom is weight loss. I thought...cool. But now I'm 200#. I've been on rytary for the past year.

Losing weight can be related to many things. It needs to be investigated as it could also mean something different than PD. When I was under medicated I lost weight because I went depressed, angry and I had difficulty eating. Eating was an unpleasant experience so I ate less.
