My ex-boss spotted a positive article on Hyperbaric Oxygen. Any idea if this would benefit Parkinsons?

I think someone recently mentioned that. I don’t think it was affirmative that it helped. I’ll have to see if I can find the post.

My boss is a nice guy. He had cancer and has gotten very informed about health. He recommends eating lots of berries. It is really nice how much he cares about me. It sure looks promising for alzheimers .

That’s nice but he’s so good to you. I’ve heard that berries are super good for you too. It would be wonderful if it did help Alzheimer’s that would be amazing.

I had one session. Not enough to notice a difference. I think there are far better supplements to be had for the money.

Ozone therapy is also good for PwP.

I had 3 weeks of it a few years ago at a clinic in Denver. Can't say I noticed any difference. It was part of the clinic's programme for Parkinsons. Sorry.

I’ve had 12 full sessions of HBO 3 years ago and didn’t notice even a tiny improvement in anything. They want you to continue ( for hundreds of sessions), but it’s just too expensive for an unknown outcome. If there was any noticeable change in my symptoms after the first 10, then perhaps I may have done many more. I’m not aware of any long term trials using this treatment for PWP.

Over the years I recall people trying HBOC as it interested me. Can't think of one positive response regarding PD. Probably great for meditation or napping, but $$$.

Hi Paul I read your bio. Not sure what condition you have I'm assuming it's Parkinson's. I see park bear has commented. From my experience there isn't much that can help our condition. I'm in my 12th year. I'm in the gait and balance group. I can fall going upstairs downstairs, makes no difference. Falls and pneumonia are killers. My Neuro tells me your bones at 72 are brittle, use your walker. I do 24/7 indoors/outdoors!!

I'm putting a report together on HBOT. I don't know why it's not being used.

Not what you're looking for?
