I don't have dyskinesia but will answer anyway. I am in the early stages, diagnosed a year ago and was taking 100 mg carbidopa/ levodopa 3 times a day. Over the last two months, I reduced the CL to 200, then replaced CL completely with one capsule Mucuna Pruriens (Nutricost) equivalent 160 mg L-dopa in the morning and one capsule Mucuna Extract (Protocol for Life) equivalent 60 mg L-dopa in the afternoon. So far, symptoms (erratic resting tremor, occasional balance instability, occasional constipation) which had improved with the meds have continued at the improved level with mucuna. I am also taking Butyrn (Allergy Research Group) and lemon juice with the mucuna and experimenting with taking CDP Coline, all of which are reputed to help extend the mucuna and carbidopa levodopa. I am interested in any comments others would like to make.
