Is this better?

Sublingual B1 is a slightly bitter-tasting, gritty pill that dissolves in 2 minutes leaving the bitter taste which goes away with a drink of water. The idea is this bypasses gastric enzymes thought to break down the vitamin.

I’ve been taking this version with great success since 2017. I started on one under the tongue a day. I’ve now reduced this to four tablets a week. You MUST keep it under the tongue so that it will absorb through the skin where It goes straight into the bloodstream. Be careful not to wash it through the digestion until it has done this. The bitterness is not noticeable after a few days. The only problem currently is getting hold of them. All the usual sites seem to be 'out of stock'. Where did you get yours?

Sorry, I got it in the mail two days ago. Hopefully it'll be available before I go through the 100 pills.

Some Amazon sellers do, but you can't tell if they're out of stock. Never mind, I'll wait! 😀

Oh gosh! Sorry! I thank the day that a retired doctor friend suggested I try B1 sublingual because he thought it the nearest to the injections, having read about Dr C. This was four years ago. Now, eleven years after diagnosis, people can’t see that there’s anything wrong with me. The sad thing is that this doctor friend also took the same dose, having had PD as long as I have had. He too, saw tremendous improvement at first but now has other help problems which have not helped. He’s unable to exercise, is in continuous pain and has lost his sight. I know that getting the right dose is tricky and I have been lucky. I have had problems working out what this should be but seem settled successfully on my current dose, for the moment. I know I’m lucky that B1 works for me as it doesn’t for everyone. It took months before I could see that things were improving and it was my friends who kept telling me I was moving better before I could see it. Good luck. I hope you have similar benefits.

Thanks, Dap. I've previously used the high dose capsules, then had 2 bottles of the sublingual. Whether either did anything for me I'm not sure, but it's frustrating when I can't buy it currently. Still it's encouraging to read it's worked for you. P.S. I was joking about the gloating 😆

What doses of sublingual have you tried?

BootsOn profile image
BootsOn in reply to Dap1948

1 x 100mg sublingual tablet per day. Sometimes I missed days though.

This is what I started on but I’m skinny with few symptoms. (I’m not suggesting you’re not skinny!) I suggest if you don’t notice improvements after a month or so, you might consider increasing the dose...

Prolly a placebo effect...but here it is. Every morning I wake up to my hand tapping me on my forehead. It's been that way for the past year or so. Usually happens around 6:30 or 7:00. Yesterday I took the first B1 lingual lozenge. This morning I woke needing to pee at 9:30 AM. Now it's 11:30 and the hand tremor is back but I don't think there was a tremor earlier this morning.

Like I said, Prolly a placebo effect. But I took the second dose along with the other morning pills: Rytary, revastatin, metoprol and baby aspirin.

Woke with a headache, went back to sleep and woke with a worse headache two hours later. Plus the tremor is back. Maybe not as bad as usual.
