Parkinson’s UK Award Targets New Therapies that slows disease progression
That would be fantastic if they can move faster and better on something with promise to slow the progression. Are there opinions on whether this will work?
Are there any treatments used to slow progression?
Dr. I saw today said no. Except exercise can help one's own body retain function.
Hi there, My husband has been taking Mannitol since late 2019. See my post. His Parkinson’s has not progressed since then.
John Pepper’s had great success with his fast walking protocol. I wish we’d known about it earlier. My husband’s walking has improved, but it will never be fast. The physiotherapist, where he does a PD Warrior class, is amazed at his improvement since he started on the Mannitol.
We are about to order the red Light helmet from Tasmania.
I’m so grateful to this site and it’s wonderful members.

I looked this up last week. This Sheffield Uni group is looking for new synthetic Nrf2 activators to combat mitochondrial dysfunction caused by oxidative stress. First in vitro, then animal studies. Don't hold your breath.
