THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Yvonne a.k.a. "Bootson" without whom none of this would be possible.
I am going to send out an email Wednesday, 3/17 to test the list.
If you get the email, please do not let me know.
If you do not get the email and you would like to (check out all the thrills and excitement of the Zoom meetings,) you may send me your email address as a private message or as an email. My email address is under my profile.
The Saturday meeting goes from 7 PM, US Central Standard Time until 8:30 PM, US Central Standard Time and the Sunday meeting goes from 11 AM, US Central Standard Time until 12:30 PM, US Central Standard Time. (US is now on Daylight Saving time.)
Usually, the Saturday meeting has 6 to 8 people and the Sunday meeting has 15 to 20 people. Often, the same people show up, which is nice because it has allows us to get to know each other as new friends.
Even without the pandemic, many of us do not socialize as much as we used to and so this is an opportunity to meet and talk with people who are not judgmental towards PWP. We are all in the same boat.
We share information and experiences with various therapies and pharmaceuticals. We also talk about things unrelated to Parkinson’s which I, personally, find enjoyable as it gives us an opportunity to know each other better.
