Should I switch clinics? Possible upgrade.

I am currently being seen at the neurology department of a teaching hospital in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Cutting edge research is being done at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, including recent trials involving autologous pluripotent cell implantation in rhesus monkeys. They also have a healthcare system open to the public, including a neurology department with a movement disorders clinic. I think my health insurance would allow me to be seen over there. Anybody see an advantage in moving closer to the action?

Depends on whether or not you believe you are being well served by your current clinic. Stem cells are a very long way from being properly validated for human use.

Although the stem cells are a long way out and therefore of course not currently of use to us, I personally would seize the opportunity to be seen in an environment that is forward thinking and cutting edge.
