Impaired finger dexterity occurs in Parkinson’s disease (PD) at an early stage and disturbs many activities of daily living (e.g.. typewriting, tying shoelaces, buttoning, and sewing). However, the pathogenic mechanism responsible for impaired finger dexterity in PD has not yet been defined

Interestingly this was my first symptom losing finger dexterity when playing the guitar

Mine too. It was when I was typing. I thought I had arthritis. My hands still feel stiff, but are better now with meds.
