Participants had significantly improved manual dexterity values (P < .05) after the intervention. They also had increased hand grip (P < .001) and pinch strength (P < .05).
Conclusions
A single hand–exercise session showed an improvement in manual dexterity and strength in persons with PD.
Interesting. This is a major problem for my husband. The difficulty is persuading him to do the exercises as they make him feel anxious and upset that he is not good at them and he doesn’t enjoy them, which seems to be his only reason for doing anything these days.
