I found articles showing cinnamon protected from alpha-synuclein formation. And at least one person on this forum says it stops tremor.

Why do I keep ordering this ****?
Problem is, according to park bear, while it may reduce inflammation in the brain, it causes inflammation in the body, which makes it a dicey proposition.
I have a bad sprain in finger and cinnamon made it considerably worse. Been taking 1-3 grams a day since PB originally posted. I have hypertension and the cinnamon dropped my bp considerably! Great Benefit. I’ve stopped the cinnamon temporarily until swelling goes down on finger.
Interesting.
Hibiscus tea is good for BP management, as are other things that increases NO production.

To be precise in my experience it aggravates existing inflammation outside the brain. I am not sure that it causes inflammation where there is none to begin with.

I'm allergic so I can't do cinnamon. I have been considering sodium benzoate instead, since it's supposed to be the active metabolite.
If you are allergic specifically to cinnamon that could work. If you have other allergies or inflammation I believe sodium benzoate would yield the same result as cinnamon.
You are talking about sodium benzoate the preservative?
NaB+cinnamon is commonly used in the mouse models.

I had 1.5 grams (two capsules) this AM with coffee. No effect on the tremor so far. I spent my usual 2+ hours on the treadmill. Typically the workout wipes me out; It takes an effort to stand up straight and my feet would be throbbing from ill-fitting shoes. But not so today. Back is straight and feet are fine. Possibly from Cinnamon's anti-inflammatory effect?
Cinnamon has disease modifying properties and requires a month or two for its effect to become apparent. I suggest reading my post for details:
Cinnamon has the added benefit of blood sugar control:
I have tried cinnamon, off and on, in the mornings, mixed with honey. I find more times than not it upsets my stomach, and I feel queasy for most of the day. For now I have stopped. Anyone else experience this?
