Nice idea, worth some actual research being done. Uncontrolled user self report without actual experimental design is a pointer, but otherwise useless. But it's a good first step on the path to demonstration. At this particular point as actual proof of some benefit, the results are little better than random people saying that cocaine or opium or raisin bran is good because after using it you feel better. But I'm just about tempted to move to the west coast on that prospect just the same, it just might be the clincher. Sit back on an island in the San Juan Islands, watch the ships, light up a fatso blunt and wait for the Big One, it's due any time this century.
I am currently enrolled in a cbd/thc study at the western hospital in toronto. I am on week one of a 6 week trial. I will post my results here at the end. On a side note, if there is anyone on this forum who is local (toronto) and does not currently use cannabis products who would like to be part of the study please send me a private message and I will communicate back with the Info.

The study is 6 weeks. It is a double blind meaning both the participants and the research team does not know whether it is CBD alone, THC alone or CBD:THC equal parts until after the study is complete. I will likely know which I was on and the strength that suited me best a week or two after the study is complete

I believe it works based on the fact that I have used it medically for the Parkinson’s for the past twenty years and I attribute much of the use of it to the success of managing many of my symptoms. It’s worth looking into.
Do you think it slows progress?
I’m not a doctor so I can’t answer that particular question, but I do know from my own research that cannabis does have Neuro-protective properties and I actually began using it medicinally for chronic pain for years before I was diagnosed with the PD. In my case, it seems to be doing something positive and I don’t use much either, and I don’t smoke it. There are many good products out there that contain cbd with and without thc, there are so many choices available if you are in a state where it is legal. All I can say is that it has made a huge difference in my life and the management of my symptoms, it really works well on my tremor, shuts it down, I hardly even know I have it. Research is showing more and more of the usefulness of cannabis. It has been used for centuries in the eastern medicine area. I believe it is worth the investigation into it. Best of luck to you.
How much is ratio of CBD to THC of the oil you are using? What is the concentration and and many drops you take.
It varies, I use a 20 to 1 oil, with the thc being the 1. I may use edible gummies that are 5 mgs of thc and 1 of cbd. I personally never use more than 5 mgs of thc per dose for my tremor and I typically will use that amount a few times a day, especially in the evening to get a good night sleep.
