Experience with rasagiline
Rasagiline 1mg/day gave me terrible brain fog so I reduced it to 0.5 mg/day but unfortunately after 6 months started having daily headaches and discontinued it. However, there are many people who don't experience these side effects.
I was on Alizect and after some time I started to feel like am going to fall over and also light headed especially in the subway in NYC Alizect is not a bad medicine i use it sparingly 6 months on and off .
Not any effect whatsoever here. Took it (1mg/day) for 8 month and then stopped it cold turkey, on the advice of a new neuro, with no consequences either.
Some drowsiness the first few weeks, then zero side effects , helps considerably with stiffness and I believe with mood. I’ve been taking it for over 3 years
On it for 1 year. No benefit to me. MDS took me off. Horrible headaches with 1 glass of wine. No other side effects.
I’ve been on it for over 7 years. At the beginning it made me very sleepy . Take 1mg every morning. Karen
I have been on Azilect for 6 years and works better for me alone. I got off Mirapex which combined made me not feel good. I am not on any levadopa meds either.
That's all I'm taking.
I’ve taken 1mg a day since diagnoses. Meant to slow decline. (My decline is slow for last 5 years). No noticeable effect but not really expected. No side effects.
I've been on rasagiline for 7 years, no problems at all and I have a relatively slow progression of symptoms. I can't say whether it's due to the rasagiline or not, but I tolerate it very well.
