I do not have the time to write a full report at this time, however, based on research I found four candidate compounds from traditional Chinese medicine that had some record of improving Parkinson's. I tried two of them and found that each one caused worsening dystonia. The other two I have not tried.
Bai Shao - Radix Paeoniae Alba, Experienced worsening Dystonia during course of treatment.
Huang Qi - Radix Astragali seu Hedysari, Experienced worsening Dystonia during course of treatment.
I read the first few pages and it reads like schizophrenic gobbledygook to me. I think somebody must have been given hey challenge to pack in as many global references without regard to much else, such as linking them. Allice in Wonderland down the rabbit hole.
Thanks for the link iqbaliqbal, very informative review on the mechanism of TCM compounds. Hope to hear more of your experience with Gou-Teng when you restart again.
