is this the same stuff (repackaged for a new article?)
Gosh. How many supplements can we really take? Also, it’s a pain to add each of them to our medical records/ charts.
I cannot find this product anywhere in internet’s no even a Chinese lady that has a good herbal business in TikTok has it I’ve given up. But if anyone gets it please let us know .Merry merry Christmas 🎁🎄 to all
Not sure I’d be taking anything from China right now.
Do you think you have a choice? Unless everything moves to India. Oh wait. Didn’t Trump just force India to send over a ton of that Malaria drug?
This is only computational research rather than a clinical trial.
Where can I find it? Any idea?
It can be found at a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. Their locations can be found online.
Did you find it at a Chinese practitioner? The acupuncture practitioner we visit gives us Chinese formulas and I showed her this article and she discussed it with others in the field and she said that she could not find it. Then I found the article that showed the ingredients but she said that you have to know the correct "recipe" so that you have the correct amount of each ingredient and so far we have not been able to find this information
Any idea where this powder can be bought?
Cant find this product
Yes where can we get it? I used to take some medicine for Asthma from a chinese shop it was fabulous. Then the shop closed.
Have you tried it iqbaliqbal? Or anyone since that post was made some time ago (mandersons link)?
You can get by prescription from an acupuncturist

Zhichan regulates the expression of monoamine oxidase B and tyrosine hydroxylase in the substantia nigra of Parkinson’s disease rats, and facilitate the secretion of striatal dopamine and its metabolite homovanillic acid, resulting in a neuroprotective effect on substantia nigra neurons in Parkinson’s disease rats. R
Zhichan capsules have a down-regulation on the expression IL-1 β and TNF-α mRNA and an up-regulation on IL-6 and the T, B lymphocytes in PD mouse. R
the link is very interesting, thanks bolt!have you done any further research?
have you tried this stuff yourself?
thanks
I have not tried Zhichan and I have not done any more research. It does look promising, I am just wrapped up fine tuning what I already do (Broccoli, B3, PEA, Magnolia Extract, Vinpocetine, Nigella Sativa, Cinnamon, Licorice Root Extract).
how's that combo working for you?
It's hard to say. I have not been officially diagnosed with PD. I have REM Sleep Behavior Disorder, a sore left shoulder and leg, poor balance, and muscle jerks.
I got diagnosed with the RBD and told I would eventually have PD April 2nd 2021. I am no worse than I was then. I think my shoulder and balance have improved.

Aims and objective: Effective components and the mechanism of action of Zhichan powder for the treatment of Parkinson's disease were researched at a systematic level.
Materials and methods: Screening of active components in Zhichan powder for the treatment of Parkinson's disease was conducted using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology database, and a medicine-target-disease network was established with computational network pharmacology.
Results: By using network pharmacology methods, we identified 18 major active components in Zhichan powder through screening, indicating a connection between chemical components of this Traditional Chinese Medicine and Parkinson's disease-related targets.
Conclusion: The medicine-target-disease system of Zhichan powder established by network pharmacology permitted visualization of clustering and differences among chemical components in this prescription, as well as the complex mechanism of molecular activities among those effective components, relevant targets, pathways, and the disease. Thus, our results provide a new perspective and method for revealing the mechanism of action of Traditional Chinese Medicine prescriptions.
thanks! good link
I found the list of herbs in zhi chan powder, researched each ingredient on nih.gov, then bought most of herbs on Amazon or other websites with good quality tested herbs. I didn’t go to a Chinese herbal store…yet. Could not find the preparation zhi chan onlineTaking a wide variety of herbs, veggies and fruits has to help microbiiome, bowel motility which then should make absorption of phytochemicals more effective. All the meds they make for PD etc are derived from either soil based bacteria, probiotic bacteria or isolated phytochemicals. Chinese herbs are whole foods, much more beneficial than solitary, isolated ingredient supplements, Takes longer to see effects, but to me worth a try.
