Head/neck injury then PD.

First of all, I am just a newly dx (2 years) guy trying to live the best life possible. It’s fairly common to have a head or neck injury shortly before being DX with PD.

Looking back, my symptoms started shortly after a head injury that damaged my neck. I was begged by a friend of mine to see this guy. A NUCCA chiropractor. Very little pushing/adjusting on you neck. He X-rays its to make sure. My anxiety left within minutes. It makes sense to me. Makes sense to the guy that invented the MRI Raymond damadian. He thought lots of brain problems could be caused by it?

Your post calls attention to important categories. Sequela to injuries of head, neck, and spine.

My understanding is that is fairly common for a PD dx to follow a physical injury (trauma). My first neuro explained that the PD onset could have been 10 years prior to dx and the traumatic insult accelerated the appearance of symptoms...without that insult, PD would have shown up, but later in life.
