Can amalgam fillings contribute to Parkinson's?

When I first noticed George's tremor, I stated you have Parkinson's. You better get your amalgam, (mercury) fillings removed and check for infections in your root canal. He had an infection in his root canal, and ended up having his tooth pulled. He also had all his amalgams, (silver) fillings removed. This article came out recently.

The amalgam fillings are not good for anything. The substance was an industrial waste. Make sure you have them removed properly, by a dentist who will put in a dam to stop you from reabsorbing the mercury.

There is no clinucal proof yes or no. But I would not discount the possibility.

Every time you chew or drink a hot liquid, more mercury from the fillings can go through out your body. Mercury, at any level, is dangerous.

Yes that’s right bepo. When I had my mercury level checked (via 24 hr urine) it was 30. The lab stated it shouldn’t be over 4! After amalgam removal and chelation it came down to 1.5

I am so glad I read this. I was diagnosed two years ago and have had some exposure to lead as well as a mouth full of amalgam fillings. It brought to mind that I have a close cousin that had to have all of hers removed, because of developing some neurological issues. They thought she had MS, but that corrected it. My dentist had suggested it several years ago, but I never thought of the connection. I will do this.

Just make sure you use a biological dentist who does proper removal. If not the vapors from removal will go right to your brain and your condition will worsen. I had one filling removed improperly and developed neurological problems within a week or so. (see my profile) You can find info on the internet about how to remove them properly.

My husband also has a plate after fainting when he was in his thirties and knocking his front teeth out. It’s pretty old . It has very shiny metal and he never seems to get it very clean, won’t remember to soak it over night. I wonder what metals are in that. I’m not sure if it’s the same one he has had forever or not. If I could I would try and get him to get all his clothes teeth out which are filled with mercury and get a new set of false teeth. But I doubt he will as it would require too much mental energy.
