Semax is loaded with carbonyl groups. These are highly reactive and prone to form adducts - undesirable links to other molecules that cause toxicity. I wrote about their role in causing cardiovascular disease here (Scroll down to "Glycation" heading):

The link you provide doesn't let you read its contents, unless one is a subscriber, I guess. It's also politically oriented as it requests donation for some candidate for the Senate.
Oh. I see it now wants people to create an account to see the content. This is new and unwelcome, although you can create an account for free.
I have posted things over there because it gives me formatting options not available here - multiple images embedded in the text, among other things. I have a lot of material over there. It would be quite a chore to put it somewhere else.
I do highly recommend using the uBlock Origin browser extension which blocks all advertisements.
Will mull this over but this is not something I could change quickly.
