Very interesting, in deed. Despite the weight gain and voracious appetite sugar creates, it also hinders dopamine. Suggesting avoid sugar at all costs! My hwp has a very high sugar (that is carb) diet and is always hungry. Unfortunately, he insists eating is the only pleasure he has left. I've been on a keto diet to lose weight and the global effect it's had on my psychological state has been simply amazing - plus 17kg lost !
