Nothing to do with PD. I read an article about extracting stem cells for orthopedic conditions. Bone marrow contains progenitor cells. When extracted then injected into the knee the injected material grows into a new ACL. It's been found that sq fat contains 100s to 1000s more stem cells than bone marrow. When collected via liposuction the material put through a centrifuge separates into three distinct levels. The middle one is the concentrated stem cells. I had a 100 pound dog with torn ACLs. The standard treatment is surgery but the client didn't have $10,000 to spend. Knowing it was experimental I extracted stem cells and injected it into both stifle (knee) joints. Torn ACL is diagnosed by the 'drawer sign'. The dog had zero drawer sign one month after the treatment. Three years later there is still no sign of AC L damage.
