Has anybody undergone the stem cell therapy in any of the un-authorized hundreds of stem cell clinics available around the world. What were the results?

What company did you use? Where did you get the treatment?

Good morning iqbaliqbal

I am happy it worked for you. Please tell me what it did for you. What symptoms did it help and did it last. Anything that you have done and you believe that it help you it will. It is called the placebo effect. I have read it can work for up to 2 years before you realize it was in your head. This is why they do double blind research. The placebo effect is very common with PWP.

I stand by my first reply. But if the money is not a worry for anyone try it. ]I most likely will not hurt.

Motherfather what benefits you got and when you underwent this procedure. Are the effects long lasting or they degrade after some period. Did they you use your bone marrow or fat cells. What was the mode of injection into your body i.e. intravenous or through spinal cord or intra nasal? After how long you felt the effects

One other question is why you selected this particular clinic. Were you referred by some of your relative/friend or had you found some robust reference of them?

good evening iqb well at the start when i went there they put me on a drip every day it had 2 bottles of something that went into my arm i never asked what it was one had clear fluid one had a yellow fluid in between i had the stem cell treatment 3 times they put that fluid in the bottom of my spine it did not hurt as they numbed my spine as it could be painful.the stem cell fluid that they give me is the same as every one gets there.i never asked were it came from, the reason i went there was the big hospital in bangkok did it in a week cost more for the same treatment.while i was there i met people from all over the world with different things wrong with them even hasidic jews from isreal there were quite a few of them ,,an a iraq man with his son.a young girl from russia she was about 4 .they told me it never cured p,k but it will help and they tell you the stem cells are young and will grow,so far im happy as i told my family im not going to sit on my ass and do nothing,im happy i have done it i can now sleep well with out sleeping tablets.hope this helps.

Motherfather in reply toFarooqji

yes it has improved in all ways.im quite surprised what the improvment have been so good if your asking me what i would tell some one about doing, i would tell you to do it if you can afford it.and as soon as you can do it then go for it.im happy how im feeling now.

If any of these stem cell treatments worked, don't you think they would be hugely successful companies selling their treatment all over the world? They are all scams in my opinion. I think I will put my trust in one of the major teaching hospitals rather than some Dr. that probably went to med school in some third world country.

Motherfather in reply toswva

china is not a third world country if you check up on it.its the second riches country in the world.and it looks after its sick people not so in america. as you need insurance.im australian over here the health scheme is much better as well.and if you dont believe well thats ok as im feeling better will you be saying the same.

If I was able to sleep through the night without drugs...it would be worth the $25,000. Lack of sleep accelerates PD with increased oxidative stress and inflammation in the brain. Glad it worked for you....I don't care if it's "all in your head" or not. Any relief for anyone with PD is wonderful. :)

My neuro recommends against this. There is a clinic in North Carolina offering a self funded clinical trial using fat cells. Very dubious

Instead of knee replacement my wife had her stem cells injected. It worked..

I have done a little research and found that the cells used by WU medical center are neural cells which anyone can purchase from biotechnology companies. One example is this one

ixcellsbiotech.com/iPSC-der...

They have provided scientific references. It's worth trying

Bailey open your eyes and be amenable to all possibilities.

Your way is not the only way.

It’s a horrible situation we are in and I know we are not fools.

Me, personally, am totally reliant on Madopar. Without it I’d be in a nursing home. I prefer being with my husband and smelling the roses....even though I knock them off the table with Dyskenesia.

I’m a young 70 year old and have moments of exasperation and fear but I haven’t given up.

I am open to Stem Cell therapy but affordability has gotten in the way. Never mind I say to myself ‘one day’ .......
