Vitamin D

ca.yahoo.com/news/lack-vita...

I am not going to argue anymore . This is one of hundreds of articles out there on the positive effects of using vitamin D to aid in fighting the Virus. If you dont want to take it , please dont take it but lets not hear any more made up stories and fact less opinions about the dangers of taking it. For any documented negative affect one would have to take 40, 000 to 50,000 IU every day for several months. If you are elderly or not out in the sunshine often , this could save your life , look into it, dont take my word, look into it .

You will probably have some difficulty finding it now.

Well said, GymBag. The evidence is overwhelming.

Gymbag also in Italy have noticed this fact of the deficiency of vitamin D, but one thing that intrigued me was a study that showed a correlation between microparticle pollution and the severity of symptoms in some more polluted areas. Guess what can cause vitamin D deficiency in young people too: pollution.

Exactly! We have been taking it for years. There are those on this site who eschew vitamins or suplements. They probably, in some instances, are malnourished.

Our GP suggested my husband take it, as he's had periods when he never sees the light of day. I take it twice a week in winter.

We all spend too much time indoors . Not so long ago ,I would have a tanned face and forearms all winter, skiing, ice fishing, snow shoveling, or just running in the snow in my mukluks. Now I go by car from one building to another.

Elderly people have to get someone to take them outside , children play indoors on their computer all day and most people work that way. If your ancestors lived in a geographically sunny place near the equator and developed darker skin to protect them from extreme glaring sunshine and you are now living in a northern cloudy all day location like New York City, then you are at particularly high risk. Especially if you tend to live inside and underground.

We race headlong into the future
