New trial platform could accelerate finding a cure for Parkinson's disease

Despite 30 years of research, not a single therapy has been found to successfully delay or stop the progression of Parkinson's disease (PD). In the Journal of Parkinson's Disease scientists report on the possibility of using a multi-arm, multi-stage (MAMS) trial platform to evaluate several potential therapies at once, using lessons learned from other diseases.

I don't believe this. I know personally a man that was in a clinical trial, and he is almost 100% his old self. He was getting ready to sell his house, and was almost to a point of being ready to not live longer.

They will not pursue it, sadly, because big pharma cannot make money from it.

Do you know what clinical trial he was in? Thank you.

I guess I don't know a name for it, but it was done by the University of Western Australia. Done in several cities in the U.S. I don't know if anywhere else. I know it was about stem cells in breast milk. Has to be fresh. Frozen kills the stem cells. I also know he drank 8 oz every day for 18 months, and did not know what it was. He received 2 shipments a week, and had to refrigerate. Also, he told me that the best quality is from birth to 6 months. I hope this didn't shock you. That is why I hesitate to tell people.

I don't need to be in a trial. I could do it on my own. I just need to find 3 women willing to be donors, paid, of course. Each for 6 months. Unfortunately, harder to find when not connected to a study.

If you want to try, good luck!

Thank you! It takes a lot of effort to find donors, how, where, etc. Good luck!

I thought you were joking until a quick Google search produced this:

Not joking. I would not do that. It was 3 years and 4 months ago since he did the clinical trial, and he is still well. Big pharma cannot put it in a pill and sell it, so nothing will ever be done with it. When he asked what would happen to the results of the study, he was told it will be buried. That is so-oooo sad. We all want to be well! He lives near Garden City, KS. A real person, a real clinical trial. A trial his wife found because she pours through all those listed on the MJF website.

Do you know why MJ Fox himself and many other rich people or celebrities with PD like Robin Williams didn’t try that?
