I was on a small dose. I never felt worse in my life! Migraine headaches for weeks and suicidal. And i stuck to the di et restrictions. For me it was horrible.

I take it. Helps a little. No adverse effects experienced.

Yes. I took Selegiline for eight years before I was able to come off it and have been off all Pd medication since 2002. That was noy due entirely to the Selegiline.

Rasagiline is a more up to date drug in the same class as selegiline and seems to be preferred by clinicians (at least in the UK).

Re giving up meds, why would you want to do that? They're there to help, to relieve symptoms, even if they don't change the progress of the disease.

And please don't believe everything said by the "miracle workers" who claim to have cured themselves. Trust more in your neurologist.
