Thanks for the V log Ian. Very informative. In 2017, following PD diagnosis, I attended Rock Steady Boxing classes 2x per week for about a year. Those classes were fun, and they did help me to get in better shape. In 2018 I switched from RSB to Tai Chi. Although I miss the community element of RSB, I feel that training in Tai Chi challenges my strength, coordination, and balance in better ways. My Tai Chi practice sessions last 2 hours and involve warming up, standing Chi Gong, Tai Chi Chuan long form, and Sword Form. Anyone wishing to see examples of what I’m doing can search YouTube for my teacher, Sifu Scott Jensen. In health - John G (reedboat2)

I think I saw you blink once during the five minute talk. Is that from akinesia?

As far as I'm aware, akinesia is a lack of voluntary movement, whereas I would say that eye blinking is involuntary/automatic and lack thereof is due to an insufficiency of dopamine - there's bound to be a medical term, but damned if I can think of it!

Cheers,

Ian
