A new study extends the Idea of relating PD originates from the gut and its interventions through distinct approaches could change the prism of treatment .
"The maximum number of aggregates reached in animals fed with B. subtilis was far lower than that observed on the [standard] diet, indicating that B. subtilis does not simply delay aggregate formation," the authors explain in the paper.
"B. subtilis PXN21 inhibits and reverses [alpha-synuclein] aggregation in a [roundworm] model, they note." Excerpt of Study .
This reassures how pathologically can prevent PD or mitigate its worsening symptoms by designing more personalized regimens .
Ya. I read this earlier. He added a note saying the study was replicated in Argentina so there maybe something to it. Although we've no idea obviously if itll translates to humans but every little piece helps solves the puzzle
I have wanted to post about the "PXN21" for some time but I was waiting for the supplements to arrive and to see whether they make any difference to people, as opposed to animals. I purchased several boxes of "Bio-Kult" Mind which has live culture "Bacillus subtilis PXN21".
My mother has been taken the capsules daily now for ten weeks, and she has noticed zero effect. Not even a small noticeable change at all; not walking or movement or anything.
Maybe in the tests in animals it works, but we have not seen any change or even stabilization of her symptoms.
Ten weeks should allow for the supplements to show something, but nothing.
If others have tried and have had success, then all the best.
