What would you have liked to know when first diagnosed?

I have an interview next week for a travel fellowship to look into alternative PD treatments - I want to go to India and USA. On return I will present my findings in the form of an online multimedia resource for the newly diagnosed (and anyone who simply wants more information).

What would have helped you when you were first diagnosed?

thanks Annie

Exercise, exercise, exercise...and do it intensely.

I had to do a ton of research for my husband. At that time we were looking at any and everything that could possibly help PD. He started the Marty Hinz protocol for mucuna pruriens, using the example set by Dr. John Gray. Since I believe all diseases start in the gut, we started with fermented vegetables and a high quality probiotic. We also have done extensive sweating with saunas. It's a multi-prong approach. The B1 is miraculous!
