Anyone use Phenibut?

It’s a unique GABA supplement used by many as an alternative to alcohol and a general anxiety reducer. It should be used sparingly due to a build up of tolerance and a rebound of anxiety reported by some. A pd friend has been using it twice a week or so. Noticed lingering improvements to symptoms for days afterwards. Although, it’s only been a week or two of use.

I am concerned about taking GABnergic substnaces as they recently found that inhibiting astrocytes from making gaba was potentially beneficial in regenerating neurons

Interesting. Can you provide additional information in this regard?

GABA analogues are not necessarily the safest drug/supplement on the market. Here are a few links about phenibut an other gaba-analogues.
