Zandopa? Maybe you are allergic to something that they add.

Did you ask your doctor to give you an opinion?

THANKS FOR REPLYING. ZANDOPA IS MUCUNA. MY DOCTOR IS A BIT VAGUE THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE ALLERGIES. I NEED TO TALK FURTHER WITH THE NEURO DOCTOR.

We tend to blame everything on Parkinson's, for good reason. However not everything is a Parkinson's problem. Also, not every pulmonary infection acts like a chest cold. It is possible it could be a bacterial or fungal colonization.

Hi

Yes I do. I have had this problem for past few years. My PD nurse advise me to take pineapple juice.not to drink it but take sips.and it has helped. Now I get mucous especially at night but now and again.i also found that not to consume dairy and sweet things before at least 2-3 before bed time. And also to avoid spicy and salty foods.

If you are like me then no chocolate or crisps.

I hope you find this helpful

Thank you for your reply. I will try your suggestions. I thought it might be wearing off of meds. or allergies.

Hi, It's musles again. Mucus gets stuck on your epiglottis. Try to see yourself getting under it., I always have Sugar free Ricola Cough drops.

You can get a devise called EMST150 Expiratory muscle strength trainer. emst150.com

and also something called "neckline thinner" it's meant to jaw and chin.

If you are near NY City, Columbia Teacher's college has a project for this condition.

Good luck

Thanks for the info. I live in Florida but I am contacting my neuro at USF for details of the EMST150. Maybe insurance would cover the cost if I do need it. Thanks again for your help
