My wife and daughter forced me to get a smartphone and get rid of my old flip-phone. So I made them program it for me. I still don't know what my passwords are. I just hand my wife the phone and say, "fix it!"
I used to get done in a day what would take most people a week, now I get done in a week what would take most people a day. The challenge I find is to continue to be kind to myself about the changes and to not compare myself to my abilities in the past.
I find it helpful to not think a whole lot about everything I have to do if I have a project but to just do the first little thing and then the next little thing and trust in the accumulation.
My sympathies, Ian. Hope this is a better week, somehow.
