Not sure how much use this is save as a general study

Was this the village in South Italy where for some reason PD is prevalent in most of the population, and from an early age? (there is a village like that in Greece as well)

Those populations are extremely helpful for general Parkinsons research but I am not sure that individual discrepancies in their genetic make-up are of much use to anyone who doesn't have that precise genetic make-up?
