Ian.... as I see it, everything that is available is simply symptom management at best with a limited time frame of efficacy and at worst, troublesome side effects.

However I still am grateful for the progress that we have made in that as a new grad physical therapist 45 years ago, we were told that nothing could be done, hence nothing was... life expectancy was several years. Most patients died of pneumonia or urinary tract infection.

Although I am certain that there will be a cure in the future, I am increasingly skeptical that I will be around for it due to the long approval rate.

I have said it for many moons now, “the Neuro sciences are still in their infancy “. Keep up the good work and more importantly the good attitude.
