Anyone symptom free?

I'm just wondering if anyone has found a good drug combination that has stopped their tremors? I know nothing works the same for any two people. Thanks

I’m on Amantadine. Yes, I still tremor depending on what I’m doing, thinking, walking, etc. but less than I was prior to taking it. I use mucuna a little but doesn’t seem to help with tremors.

Hi Stazina. You are correct, no drugs do anything to slow down the progression of Pd. Exercise has shown itself to be able to do so. I don't know if exercise stops the tremors completely. I only shake when I am under stress.

Most of my symptoms have been kept on hold as long as I continue to do Fast Walking. I am 84 and still walk 7 kilometres in a little over an hour now.

If you would like to learn more, have a look at my website, reverseparkinsons.net and contact me. I am sure I will be able to help you, at NO COST TO YOURSELF!

Levodopa reduces tremor. DBS is best for tremor

Deep Brain stim. Got it. Just woke up!

HDT has helped mine, usually at night. My last solution is to take my morning dose of C/L 50/200 and Azilect early. Throws my day off a bit but so do tremors.

Auricular acupuncture, TuiNah massage, aromatherapy massage with geranium, orange and black pepper, with reiki. Symptom free for a few hours. Back to it next day. Could have been placebo. Happened a couple of times. Much worse now. Had to start ramping up the dopa, but it's not much help. Toes curling. Balance and walking getting difficult. Going for some sun and warm sea.

I may be an unusual case, but Sinemet so far has eliminated my symptoms, including tremor. They were mild, though.

Sinemet eliminated about 90% of my left hand tremor and stiffness. Fatigue is now the biggest problem during off periods and especially late in the day.

Selegiline 5mg stopped mine, which were minor . I am 2.5 years into this club (also on HDT) , exercise, supplements, lower carbs, etc.
