Hey gang, a while back somebody posted a link to an exhaustive list of PD symptoms. I can't find it in any of my folders or on the site and I would love to have that link again. I thought I'd have it tattooed on my arm so people can read it (not really).
I do grow weary of trying to give people a picture of how extensive this disorder is. They see me looking relatively normal and think all is well. For most people that's fine but sometimes I want to crack that veneer with a list of reality and that was a darn good list. I hope someone remembers it.

Here is a fairly comprehensive list of 80 different symptoms that members have posted as being improved through the addition of HDT to their existing PD regimen :
Yes! The only two symptoms I have to live with are constipation and insomnia. It is 5:30 am and I have been up since 4:45 am and am working on my laptop until it is light enough to walk. I will finish my walk just after 7 am and take my wife a nice cup of tea and get cleaned up and enjoy a nice day. Life has been good for me since 2002, when I finally stopped taking Pd medication and have continued to walk fast every second day, other than when I was unable to do so due to other health problems. I am getting on for 85 and live a full, healthy life.
Hi Despe. I don't really want to live to be 100 unless I am still bodily fit and I have all my marbles. e have one lady here in our retirement village who just turned 107. She still has all her marbles and until two years ago still did a brisk walk every day. Her only problem is, "How does she get away from all this"
I am seriously thinking to have him start Xadago, the newest MAO-B inhibitor. Afraid of the side effects though, especially BP as he had cardiac ablation back in 2011-12 due to arrhythmia. His BP is great now without any meds. He was taking BP meds for a while before and after ablation with a little success. He only takes supplements now for BP, Krill Oil and Turmeric and really worked. His doctor took him off BP meds. He wondered why his BP is normal (usually 115-125/68-70), but refused to accept that that is due to supplements.
Hi Enidah. If you work hand in hand with your neurologist you should be able to control it properly. I was on the Selegiline for 8 years befoe I had any BP problems with it.
