Copaiba oil....Anyone?
Here is a link to a discussion here from several months ago.
I've been using Copaiba Essential Oil for 1 1/2 years, mostly for muscle pain. It really helps me with inflammation. However I use it in addition to other essential oils/blends for pain, as Copaiba can enhance the effects of other oils. I only use Young Living Essential Oils. In my research, they are the most effective and safest to use.
The type have is smell only. Young Liiving & DoTerra is okay to ingest.
Ive been experiencing a lot of neck pain and typically dmso 70% does the trick. But not so much lately. Hoping that the cabaiba helps to relieve. Not sure if Park related, stress, or Whatever. Maybe a combo of all
I use the Copaiba Essential Oil topically, as well as ingesting (Young Living) one or two drops. Copaiba works really well as an “enhancer” oil, meaning that it helps to enhance the effects of other essential oils you use with it. Young Living has an awesome oil which helps with pain, called “Panaway”. The 2 oils together work really well for me.
LMl,
Have you tried magnesium chloride oil for your neck? It works well for me on my neck because it can relieve pain and relax the muscles. If you've already tried it and you found it not quite strong enough, I can recommend one other product, let me know.

Hi Art, I have not tried the mag chloride oil. In fact, I was looking at your recipie the other day but got distracted and haven’t taken an opportunity to go back to it yet. I have been using DMSO 70% which works well if you are diligent with reapplication. My mom is a retired massage therapist so she has been working on my neck and that helps too. I will be trying the magnesium ~j
Another that I have found useful for spinal joint issues is hyaluronic acid (HA) at 300 mg /day, but mag oil is pretty easy and inexpensive. It is helpful for many things.
On the other hand the HA may be more longer term effective and convenient!
