I saw my neurologist last week and he was pleased to see how well I was doing. At my previous visit (8 months prior), he said, "You must be doing something right." We discussed the homeopathy and the mannitol, and I was just starting the high dose thiamine.
At this recent visit, I told him I was feeling really well, better than a year ago, and had improved since starting the HDT. He said he read up on Dr Constantini's protocol since my last visit, and was encouraged, but wished there were some studies with placebos.
After doing a few pull tests, observing my walking, and doing some finger taps, he laughed and said, "Well, it looks like youre taking better care of yourself than I am, do you want to change places?"
He is very encouraged with my improvement, and went on the computer to the Health Unlocked site while I was there and will be looking more into Dr Constanini's HDT. I'm so lucky to have a neurologist that is so humble and open to alternatives.
Please check my profile for more details on my thiamine, etc. I just updated it.

ive been taking mannitol since 11/17 felt just generally better since taking it, but the biggest noticeable thing was that i got my sense of smell back.
I read in a comment which I do not find no more that there is mannitol with an antigas substance; is that what you use? and how much per day do you take?
I am very happy to hear that your results using Dr. Costantini's HDT protocol are "phenomenal " and durable over the past 6 months since starting! I don't know if you have seen the following post, but you might be interested in reading it if you haven't!
Thanks easilly, I had it sent to me as I had an on line consultation with dr C some time ago. I really hope he is well soon. Thanks for sending it through though x
i think mine came from a combo of mercury from amalgam fillings and working nine summers in the corn fields full of pesticides. I'm feeling better with B1 also
Same here but I still have it in the am, I wonder if it’s one of the other supplements you take since I take mannitol too and after being up and down the b1 doses have also settled on 200mg. I think we might have the same Dr., Dr. G? Are you on a special diet or exercise regime? Thanks!
connied- no, its definitely the thiamine, because the distonia stopped within 3 weeks after starting it. i dont have an exercise regime; i was never one to exercise. and i dont really have a special diet - except that i dont eat any processed food, everything is made from scratch, and very little sugar (but i do eat trader joes belgian chocolate regularly-so yummy & really cheap, lol), no coffee, tea or alcohol. i eat alot of vegetables and fruit, and plenty of proteins at dinner. i stay away from vegetable fats - and instead i use olive oil, lard and lots of butter, and cream. and, no, i am not fat. lol....
yes, dr guttuso? how long have you been seeing him? he diagnosed me in 2006. isnt he great?
Yes that’s my Dr too! I was seeing another dr in his group that wasn’t open to supplements and he definitely is, I want a dr I can be open with. The other dr said flat out no to anything so I knew She wasn’t getting the full picture and I worried what if something I’m taking could adversely interact with my meds, I’m certainly not a dr. and while I want to try things that could improve my situation I also want guidance so I’m not doing anything dangerous. I’ve only seen him twice so far but yes he seems great! 😊👍
