What meds you taking? What exercises you doing?
sinemet 25/100 thrice daily. Early morning fast walk covering about 5Kms in 45mins thrice weekly.
It is possible you are under medicated. What happens if you increase your dosage?
In any case consider availing yourself of high-dose thiamine.
I also have trouble with my right arm, although it is the left arm which has the tremor. I am left-handed, and have used the right arm for stabilization for these many months. I have found that my right arm "freezes" when I am in one position for too long. So I try to move around, and to exercise my right arm as much as possible.
What stops the movement, tightness , weakness or pain?
I find that if I only do my cycling (i.e. legwork) 0my shoulder on the affected left side doesn't get forced to move enough. Then it starts hurting. The next stage is the right shoulder gets overworked and starts hurting too. Then I risk having decreased mobility both sides - but for different reasons. Big arm movement exercises really make a difference when this happens. I did PD Warrior a couple of years ago and bring those exercises out of the toolkit for this. I've just had to do it again for a couple of weeks after a Christmas where it was difficult to find time to do regular exercise.
Perhaps you should see a physiotherapist or exercise trainer experienced with Parkinsons people, and get exercises to help loosen and strengthen the arm and shoulder.
I am the same ,hurts huh, mobility of neck turning my head also. Sometimes all you can do is treat the symptoms. I use a blue hot/cold jell that helps . A warm heating pad ( not at same time as jell) A hot shower and back meds with muscle relaxants in the worst case. PD is trying to make me into a hunched over old man and it is deforming my spine to do it . Regular stretching exercise and coffee and donuts are all I can think of for prevention.
