Left side vs right side

I know my tremors are worse on my right side but my left side also has tremors. This morning while I was walking I noticed my shadow and it is my left arm that isn't swinging while my right on is swinging away. That's weird -- right?

Nothing is weird about how your body reacts to Pd and meds. Every one has their own set of symptoms and side effects to meds. Just when you think you know every thing about your PD something else shows up and you start chasing a solution for it. Just try and accept your symptoms for what they are and treat the new ones as they come.

That is one of the tell tale signs. Parkinson's usually attacks one side before the other. Those diagnosing look for your arm not swinging and foot dragging or toe curling on the same side.

You seem to assume that symptoms are typically bilateral? Mine areen't.

Do you have any root canals on the right side of your jaw? How about crowns? I've had RLS for 40 years and just now discovering it's my teeth. I have three crowns, all of which have an aluminum base that sits right on my broken teeth and leeches aluminum into my body. My legs are reacting to the aluminum as my nerves try to heal from the contamination. The nervous system begins to reset and heal during the nighttime hours.

I would suggest you see a biological dentist who might be able to help you. If you don't have crowns or root canals, you may have had wisdom teeth pulled that have left an infection in the jawbone. That has happened to me. I thought I had good teeth, but I've discovered the problems with my RL is directly tied to my teeth. I am currently chelating out the aluminum from my body using Metal Magic, a preparation that takes heavy metals out of the body safely. Heavy metal infection can cause a wide array of problems.

Now, there are other causes of RLS. It doesn't have to tie directly to dental issues, so be open to suggestions you will receive from feedback on this site. There are a lot of good people here who have discovered other ways to heal or at least survive RLS.

God bless!
