Do you grow your own Cannabis?

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you ;-)

Seriously, drop me a line at email@dbsacompletenobrainer.co.uk and I'll tell you how I source it.

Well presented Ian. Ty. May I ask, how you ingest cannabis and how often?

Prior to DBS I was dosing about 4 or 5 times a day. Since DBS I usually dose once, in the evening, to help me relax and assist with getting to sleep. I use a vaporiser to ingest, although I have smoked it and used edibles before now. Vaping or smoking is effective for between 3 and 4 hours, edibles can last for 6 to 8 hours, but take longer to take effect.

Cheers, Ian

Thank you, Ian. This is helpful. You've made me understand my own so-called Intentional Tremor which affects my right hand only. My handwriting is generally illegible because of the shaking. It occurs more especially when I'm preparing to perform an activity with that hand. I've taken to using capital letters rather than script but even that can be hard to decipher.

Glad you found it helpful. Cannabis could be useful for your tremor, but if your writing is illegible due to micrographia then I can't say whether or not it would improve, although it will obviously make it easier for you to write. DBS restored my handwriting to pre-Parkinson's days, although it has deteriorated a little since...

No micrographia, Ian. I joined HU not because I was diagnosed with PD (my husband had it and died a year ago) but because you were all so supportive during his illness and my appreciation was such that I can't leave. I do have gait (balance) problems and the tremor I outlined. I hope it's acceptable that I've remained with the HU group.
