I am a 59 year old Chinese with balance disorders not attributable to middle ear disorder but neurological ones. Symptoms: heaviness of legs, uncoordinated leg movement, insomnia, constipation, autonomic dysfunction amongst others. Neurologist suspects MSA subject to MRI results. Anyone with suspected MSA and might know if high thiamine intake will be useful?

Many thanks, Easily.
I’ve had the chance to read your post these past few days and thank you for good advise to take control of my life from the neurologist. Yep! Time to act

Poss,
I'm not saying to dump or ignore your neurologist, just not to limit your medical universe to your one neurologist in order to do the best for your unique situation.

I understand. Only to simply chuck away the neuro like a pair of worn-out jeans( although the jeans may have greater value:))))
Appreciate your taking care to have me understand what you said.
Do you take ldopa ? If so does it help?
