Anyone experimenting with L-dopa and Carbidopa ratios?

Hi, I know that nearly all preparations of C/L are 1:4. For example C/L 25/100 is 25% Carbidopa to 100mg of Levodopa. I revved myself back up to a functioning human again by adding small doses of L[dopa (through Nutrivitashop). with my 25/100 pill(s). After a couple of months I was back on my guitar again. In doing this I added more L-dopa, and obviously increased the ratio. However, I figure there is only so much you can put on the back of a carbidopa pill before it won't absorb any more L-dopa into the brain (diet notwithstanding). Anyone out there try this?

I prefer to limit carbidopa by taking the 10/100 Sinemet formulation. I take 7 1/2 tablets a day. (5 x 1 1/2)

I too try to limit the carbidopa, but find varying degrees of effectiveness past the 1 to 10 ratio.

I am taking Carbidopa/Levodopa/Entacapone 18/75/200 + 3 capsules of Mucuna Dopa (according to the manufacturer I capsule yields 100mg of Levodopa) 3 times a day. I am also taking 2 capsules of Mucuna Dopa before sleep and 2 more in case if I am awake in the middle of the night. Works pretty well.
