I have internal tremor, I tend to stop and take a breather when it happens, people wonder what I am doing as they cant see the tremors.
I have lived with that for 14 years and counting. Since before my dx was positive it has felt like my cell phone was on vibrate and someone was calling. The only thing that ever has helped it subside completely has been acupuncture and CBD oil w/THC . DBS has been a life saver but has never been able to find that elusive gremlin. No amount of exercise, yoga, pilates, Sinemt, etc. has ever helped. I've gotten used to it coming and going at will, but always lurking in he background. Good luck!
Internal tremor was my very first symptom about 5-6 years ago. My PC thought it was anxiety. I felt like I was crawling out of my skin. After going through the gammet of traditional meds used for anxiety, she landed on Propranolol. Magic. At 10mg per day my internal tremors have been effectively managed ever since. I have incoperated some yoga, midefulness activities and biking into my life but they are just things that help me feel “good”. I am starting to feel that the B1 is reducing the ITs, but as of yet this is not a consistent result. Best to you! Don’t stop looking for what works!
Good morning Livin, my tremor was also mistaken for anxiety. Are you still using Propanololo? Thanks for you suggestions.
Hey Fed, yes, I still use the propranolol 10mg 1x day with good results. I know how frustrating it is explaining that “feeling” to a dr, friend or family member. The rarely get it. I had a difficult time even describing what it was. I would get frustrated when people would automatically say “anxiety” . It seems like everything can be chalked up to anxiety and many don’t look much further. Not to say anxiety isn’t real, it absolutely is, I just knew that wasn’t what was going on with me. I hope your doc is open to deeper discussion. (i also use yoga to relax and midefullness activities....helps keep me in the moment) Good luck and don’t give up...!
