Thank you so much!! I am thinking about DBS too. My doctor suggested me to do it almost 2 years ago. I take every 2.5 hours 1 comtan and 1.5 sinemet 25/100, but it is really working 1.5 hours. I have left side tremor hand tremor very severe left food stiffness very slow movements (between my medications), swallowing, brain fog and other PD related problems. Also I start feeling tremor on the right side. I am very scare to go to surgery, but my daughter insist it. I am 64 years old. I have to think about it more seriously! Thank you so much again!!

That was my age too when I had DBS! It has only gotten better in the last 4 years. i.e. Now they put you to sleep for the whole operation, the device has gotten smaller & more efficient! Lucky you! My neurologist had recommended it 5 years prior. It take care of all 3 of the symptoms you present with.

I have DBS since 2011. The effect is not overwhelmingly, but as fundament not bad.So of someone offers you a DBS.The op risk is low, you have an optimaĺ risk/benefit ratio.
