good morning 9284
How long has your husband been a not so nice person. Has he always been self centered. If his personality has had a recent change it could be the Madopar or his Parkinson's or a combination of both. I have always been patient with my wife of 47 years but for the last couple of years she sometimes get on my nerves and i can be very cruel to her. It is do to my 13 years of frustration fighting my Parkinson's and my meds. As for the restless leg Requip (ropninirole) should take care of that. I take Ropinirole one 6 mg a day. Just be careful of impulse control. I have problems with gambling but i can not make it without the Ropinirole.
Good luck
Sounds like your husbands negative traits are accentuated now he is unwell. I suggest you look at ways that will help you cope and support for you. Counselling support may be useful too as he puts you down you need someone to build you up.
Sometimes anti depressants improve moods like his. It would be worth trying.
