I understand why doctors prefer to TREAT the symptoms of Pd and I also understand why the drug industry only wants to treat the symptoms but why does nobody talk about REVERSING the symptoms?

Treating symptoms while watching our overall condition getting worse and worse until we can no longer move and become bed-ridden and die, seems pointless to me.

We accept what we are told, when we were diagnosed that there is nothing we can do to stop the progression of our Pd, we accept that prognosis and we slowly get worse and worse until we die. That is not the whole truth! There is something that many of us can do to stave off that fatal end.

I know we are all different and some of us cannot expect to get better but many of us CAN. I believe that over 30% of all Pd patients can possibly get better, as I have, and lead a normal life again. I have lived medication-free since 2002 and at the age of 83 still live a good life. I urge more and more of you to do something about it.
