Sleep: Sleep until 2 and then awake. Any... - Cure Parkinson's
Sleep
I would like to enjoy the quiet and the time at 2 a.m. in the morning. But if I do and I don't get enough sleep I feel awful the next day and it pretty much ruins a day for me. My tool of last resort is half of a .5 mg Xanax. That usually does it. Stops the chattering in my head.
There's an old saying, "If you can't beat them, join them". What do I mean by that?
I now get up, if i can't get back to sleep. I go into the next room and read an interesting, but dull, book until I feel sleepy again. Then I go back to bed and sleep.
If I lay awake, tossing and turning, I become very stressed and that makes my Pd worse. Stress is very bad for Pd.
Try it!
yes take a sleeping tablet..that works.
Amitrypteline will knock you out for 8 hours!!
After watching the video linked below from Ian Frizell on CBD Infused milk, my Partner tried it. The effect has been a total game changer as he is now able to sleep for around 6 hours compared to the former 2-3. Hemp tea (leaves and buds) can be legally bought in some countries Provided the THC levels (the component that gives a psychoactive effect) are below 0.2%. You need to check the legislation in your country. The tea is first dry roasted (covered) in the oven at 90-95 degrees C (not over 100) for 45 minutes and then infused in milk (not skimmed milk as you need the fat for solubility) and without boiling for 45 minutes. He adds about 6 heaped tablespoons of tea per litre of milk and also also a few drops of CBD oil. Preferring a chocolate flavour a cup of the infused milk is then mixed with 2 teaspoons of Nesquick powder and 1 teaspoon of Mannitol.
I got my husband a full body massage mat. The vibrations help lull him back to sleep. He is also taking a slow absorption Melatonin called "RemFresh". That has seemed to help too. At least for now .... who knows what tonight will bring! 😊
Warm a cup of milk and toast a piece of bread. Consume both, brush your teeth and head back to bed. You'll be asleep in no time.
