IV NAD

Anyone have experience with this? My functional med doc is suggesting. Expensive. Looking on the internet I see it promoted for many things, I understand that it's been an addiction treatment for a long time. I see it being promoted for PD, alzheimers, anti-aging. Makes me a bit suspicious, but she thinks it's a good idea. Any and all thoughts welcome.

See Silvestrov comments on Niagen here: healthunlocked.com/parkinso... about halfway down the page.

While I was caring for my husband, I found a brief online video in which neurologist Dr David Perlmutter was administering IV glutathione to help PwP walk. It showed pictures of the stages to success (it does succeed in the case shown) but it has to be repeated frequently and must be very expensive, therefore. It didn't say anything about other PD symptoms but the glutathione probably helps all round as it's a precursor for dopamine, I think. I'll look for the reference

Have you considered taking Tru Niagen (nicominatide riboside)?

Yes, I'm taking it. For the moment I'm not considering the IV.

Have you researched NAD+ Intranasal? I’ve got a reputable compounding pharmacy in LA that will prepare it.
