I am about to start adding it to my routine. I am wondering if there is anything that I need to take with it? Does high doses of Thiamine affect other nutrients? Does it deplete something else? Thanks!
Thiamine: I am about to start adding it to... - Cure Parkinson's
Thiamine
I presume you are taking it orally so what dosages do you intend to follow? I'm about to start some myself.
4g/day, Solgar Vitamin B1 (as thiamin HCL) 500mg
Thanks for that. I could only get Solgar Vitamin B1 in 100 mg capsules. I might have to buy some online to get a better capsule strength.

What did Mischley advise about B1/Thiamin? She does not endorse it due to poor evidence/ lack of placebo control in any ( lacking ) studies from my estimation after consulting e her anyways. She’s fresh! I Like!
I didn't speak to her about it, but i am sure she is open to it. Her philosophy seems to be......if it works for you, go for it. I am taking b1 myself.
I have to say I haven't been able to take it consistently. I am starting to get back on track with diet, supplements, etc. I decided to hit PD where it starts....emotional health. I started therapy and have spent a lot of the last few months focused on resolving old conflicts, examining feelings. etc. I am looking for a balance now with the physical and emotional work that needs to be done every day. Boy, PD really makes you shake the shit out of your life!
