As you know, episode 2 is a interview with Dr. Bredeson who, I think, is one of the best. He makes it pretty clear why all drug trials fail, i.e., Parkinson's, like Alzheimer, is a subset of illnesses each with many causes. As we all know, Parkinson's can be triggered by head trauma, mercury fillings in your teeth, other drugs, bacterial infection, a wide variety of toxins, microbiome imbalance, genetic predisposition, etc. $17 billion spent on Parkinson's trials and three times that amount spent on Alzheimer's trials and all failures - no cure. Drugs have a single target so they're all doomed to fail as long as doctors/researchers are locked into group think.
