Has anyone tried the above by prof birkmayer and got more energy. I suffer bad fatigue but tried these on recommendation but did nothing for me
NADH: Has anyone tried the above by prof... - Cure Parkinson's
NADH
Expensive, did nothing for me
What seems to work for me is a health supplement called thyroid nascent iodine. It is a tincture and you just use few drops in water. I don't use it all the time just when I'm tired. Next day I see a definite difference.
You can do a search on eBay, there's many different kinds the last one I got was Edgar Cayce brand
How did you come by Edgar Cayce thyroid nascent iodine? I notice here cayce.com/health-solutions/... that Cayce recommended using iodine under the supervision of a Dr. Was it your Dr that recommended it? My husband with PD takes Lugol's Iodine Solution which is just about to run out so will have to do more research and find more info on Atomic iodine to see if hubby may benefit from that as you did parkie 13
Btw if you have any more info or advice on taking nascent iodine, I would much appreciate it.
Thanks.
Gerry
Are they cheaper, as birkmayer is so expensive but they say they are the only ones that work. I wouldn't mind if they took away my symptoms as i would give my last penny to be rid of them. I find the more sinement I have the worse the symptoms and pain. They really mess around with my internal workings and try and tell me that my symtoms are the condition. Rubbish as I'm better in morning prior to drugs and the more I take the more side efffects and pain. I have never heard of a condition where the meds cause more problems than they solve
NADH is a NAD+ precursor. You need to understand what NAD+ precursors are and how they are different. They include niacin, NAM, NR, NMN, NADH. They all create NAD+ which is the end goal, but how they get there and what else they do is just as important.

and then the science research that is building that shows the POSSIBILITY of NAD+ repletion to halt the damage done in Parkinson's. To date all the research is in cultures and animal models, but what researchers are finding again and again and in many different neurological disorders is that NAD+ repletion stops neurodegeneration, BUT a big piece of this improving message is that NR and NMN (which are both newly discovered NAD+ precursors) are Sirtuin activators where as the old Niacin and NAM were Sirtuin inhibitors..

and no you don't have to take a B complex. A B Complex MAY help as well, but the research on that topic is altogether different and unclear.
