Has anyone tried Nuplazid for Hallucination?

My husband, 81 yrs old has vivid and frightening hallucinations that seem to reduce/improve if he SKIPS a dose of Sinemet now & then. Does the drug contribute to this problem?

Recently somebody just posted about using niacin not niacinamide for hallucinations. I believe her husband's hallucinations just stopped after he started taking niacin. It was a part of a thread. She spoke very highly and enthusiastically about it.

Yes she just talked about niacin I'm going to try to find it and post the title, it was a long post.

Not really surprising : schizophrenia is linked to excess dopamine in the brain.

My husband had severe hallucinations, believing he had vermin burrowing under his skin. On several occasions, he used a knife to try to get rid these vermin. He took Nuplazid for about 6 months, and it helped a lot. He occasionally “sees” bugs or vermin, but realize he is the only one who sees them, and they aren’t real.
